KONA's Jeff Pohjola will be broadcasting live from the convention floor each day of the Republican National Convention. No other news organization in the Tri-Cities will have a reporter there. With Interviews from local delegates and national party leaders, KONA will have you covered. Listen each day for special reports. Listen each evening for the keynote address, Paul Ryan's speech, and Mitt Romney's acceptance speech on Thursday, August 30th.
Immediately following the Republican Convention in Tampa, KONA's Jeff Pohjola will fly to Charlotte to cover to Democratic National Convention. Again, only 610 KONA will have a reporter on the convention floor, providing special reports, interviews with local delegates, and live coverage of the event. Each night KONA will carry the primetime speech, leading up to President Barack Obama's acceptance speech on Thursday, September 6th.

610 Information Radio will be hosting a series of debates between elected officials and their challengers. Some of these debates may be simulcast on other stations in other cities throughout the state. Stay tuned for more details as candidates are lined up and the debates are planned.
