Meet Sean

Hannity was born a conservative right from the beginning, as the youngest of four children with strong Irish Catholic background his period of rebellion consisted of staying up late at night to tune into the AM dial to listen to his favorites; Barry Farber and Bob Grant. It wasn't until 1987 when Hannity began a regular routine of call-ins to a Santa Barbara, California talk show where he found an outlet for his views. He started his own show at a Santa Barbara College Radio Station only lasting 40 hours of on-air time but he didn't stop there. A year later by placing a "Job Wanted" ad in the R&R, billing himself as "the most talked about college radio host in America" he got his wish from WVNN a station in Huntsville, Alabama who took a gamble on the young voice. The world of talk radio has never been the same.

In 1992, WGST Atlanta, ranked in the Top 15 in the nation, knocked on his door and wanted him to join their team for a morning call-in show. Several years later in 1996, WABC New York invited him to work in the largest radio city in the nation as a co-host for Fox News Network's, "Hannity and Colmes" show, which is now one of the most successful cable news shows in the nation. By 1997, he joined with 77WABC Radio in New York where he became the #1 rated News and Talk Show in the afternoon drive period. ABC News in September of 2001, made the success of his show even greater by syndicating Hannity across the country. Talker's Magazine deemed it, "the fastest growing syndicated talk show in talk radio history." Only after one year, he was 2nd place in the nation for the semi-annual list of nationally syndicated radio talk show hosts. He truly is an American phenomenon. Hannity is now the author of the New York Times best seller, "Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty Over Liberalism" and "Deliver Us From Evil": Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism.
