Walla Walla investigate crime scene, release few details

Walla Walla detectives have released few details but say they continue to investigate a crime scene since yesterday afternoon.

Officers say they were called to the 1500 block of East Alder Street around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and have been at the scene since then.

Detectives are being assisted by the Special Teams Unit and Washington State Patrol Crime Lab.

They have not released what crime occurred at the location.

Walla Walla police said in a statement that more details will be released "when appropriate and without damaging the integrity of the investigation."
