4 Officers Involved in West Richland Shooting Identified

BENTON COUNTY, Wash.--The Special Investigations Unit has identified four officers involved in the shooting of a suspect on Van Gieson St. in West Richland following a series of shootings and fires across the Tri-Cities. The report details four officers including

Two Deputies the Benton County Sheriff's Office

One Officer from the Pasco Police Department
One West Richland Police Department Officer

An autopsy of the remains located in the suspect vehicle is being conducted today [Friday], as
requested by the Benton County Coroner’s office.

In accordance with the investigative requirements set forth in WAC 139-12-030, the SIU
investigation has activated non-law enforcement community representatives as well as
assigned a family liaison.
