UPDATE: AMBER Alert canceled, Auburn toddler found safe

An AMBER Alert has been canceled for an Auburn toddler who police say had been taken by her father who threatened violence.

Our news partners in Seattle, KOMO says Auburn police confirmed she had been found safe and is now with authorities. Her father, who is the suspect in her disappearance, remains at large.

Auburn police said on Sunday police responded to a domestic violence call where Anthony Burton threatened to kill the mother of the 15-month-old. Officers say he also threatened to kill himself if confronted by police. Before police arrived the man took off with the baby.

They say he has made comments in the past about killing himself, the baby and the mother of the child. He last talked with family on Tuesday and refused to bring back the little girl.
