Forecasters are calling for a potentially bad wildfire season this summer.

So, it's important to know the evacuation levels and what they mean. Level 1 means "Get Ready" because a danger exists. Level 2 means "Get Set" and stand by in case you need to evacuate. And Level 3 is, simply put, "Go".

"But, they also need to know who, primarily, we will be notifying them. And our primary notification method is via the Code Red notification system. It is a free system, but people have to sign up for it", notes Lori Ferris of the Benton County Emergency Management.

To sign up for the emergency alerts, you must go the county website where you reside and sign up through that emergency management division.
