(Kennewick, WA) -- Speed was said to be a factor in a rollover crash that involved a big rig semi truck along US Highway 395 at Hildebrandt in Kennewick Thursday morning. State Patrol says this happened, as the truck was northbound approaching the construction zone, and hit a concrete barrier marking the beginning of the work zone S-curve at around 6:30am. The crash flipped the truck and left it on it's side. Police responded and were able to open the Southbound side of the highway in a fairly short time frame. Northbound 395 was blocked for hours though. The driver was said to be traveling too fast for a construction zone, and has been cited for Negligent Driving-2nd Degree.
