Body Found In Freezer Identified…

The Yakima County Coroner's Office confirms remains found in a freezer near Toppenish are those of a missing 31-year old mother of four.

Rosenda Sophia Strong was last seen on October 2nd, last year.

Rosenda was identified using dental records.

She was a citizen of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation and a descendant of the Yakama Nation.

Rosenda's death has been ruled a homicide and the cause remains under investigation.
