Bully Self-Defense course offered by Kennewick Parks & Rec

The school year begins for districts in our area next week.

Parents are busily buying clothes and supplies, but the Kennewick Parks and Recreation Department is offering something that could prove just as valuable. On Saturday, August 24, a course called "Bully Self-Defense" will take place at the Southridge Sports Complex. The focus will be for teens aged 14-18 years old to learn the mental, verbal and physical skills needed it they are bullied at school, or if they see a classmate being bullied.
