Suspected Car Thief Flees From Pasco Police; Causes Multiple Collisions

(Pasco, WA) -- A 23-year-old woman is in custody after causing a multi-vehicle collision while allegedly fleeing police in west Pasco Saturday. At around 11:50am, police attempted to pull over a suspected stolen vehicle near Road 68 and Burden Boulevard. That’s when the female driver sped off into the intersection and caused subsequent collisions. The woman was injured and taken to the hospital while in custody. Passengers of a truck involved the crash were also transported to the hospital. There were two men in the vehicle with the suspect. They were also taken to the hospital for injuries.

The incident is under investigation. So far, the two men have not been arrested.
