Chiawana High School Teacher Arrested

(Pasco, WA) -- Shocking allegations against one Tri-Cities area high school teacher. Detectives say the Chiawana High teacher invited a 16-year-old girl over to his home in Benton County back on April 6th for a photoshoot. The Benton Sheriff's Office says Jeffrey Whiston asked the teen to pose in sexually suggestive and revealing positions. This all came to light after the victim's parent sent an email to Pasco schools. PSD later met with Benton Detectives. Whiston is now in the Benton County Jail on suspicion of felony sexual exploitation of a minor.
