‘Community Strong’ new campaign started to help local restaurants

PASCO, Wash. - Local restaurants and other businesses are facing difficult times as the region reacts to the spread of COVID-19. So another local company has kicked off a new campaign that is designed to gather members of the community to rally around and support those local restaurants who are struggling.

"We feel like we have an opportunity today, to come together for the greater good," says Brian Campbell, General Manager of Campbell & Company. The Community Strong campaign was designed there and launched to help local restaurants and local families who are in need of a warm meal.

Donations can be made to the company's GoFundMe page. The dollars raised will go to the purchase of gift cards to restaurants from the community. Those gift cards will then be distributed to families in need through Communities in Schools, an organization designed to help struggling families in our community.
