Dayton Woman Dies In Roll-Over Crash
Washington State Patrol is continuing to investigate a single vehicle fatal accident Friday, in Walla Walla County, near Prescott.
According to Walla Walla County Sheriff's Deputies, 69-year old Dorietha Kay Rothe, of Dayton, was northbound on Hart Road when her car lost control on the gravel shoulder.
The vehicle hit an embankment, landed upside down in a ditch, and was reportedly on fire.
Witnesses attempted to rescue Rothe from the car, however, they were unsuccessful.
Rothe died at the scene. An autopsy is planned to determine the exact cause of death.
