The Tri-Cities science and technology high school is accepting applications for incoming high school freshman for the coming school year.

Students in Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland school districts are eligible to apply.

Just 130 freshman are accepted into the school each year.

Prospective students need to be ready to enroll in High School Algebra or a high math course when they enroll.

Applicants are selected through a random lottery, with seats earmarked for each school district based on district population. Students who are offered enrollment will be notified in early March. Students who are not selected in the lottery will remain on a wait list in case any spots

The school hosts an open house event Tuesday, January 5th and 7th for anyone interested in learning more about the school.
