Here we go again! Snow is in the forecast for the mountain regions and that means taking it slow if you are driving over any passes this weekend.

The National Weather Service in Pendleton says lower elevations will receive rain and many of the higher elevations will see snow showers increase from west to east Thursday and become more significant and numerous by late in the day. Meteorologists say the precipitation will taper off throughout Friday.

The weather expected to impact travel through the mountains, especially on I-84, OR-204, and US-395. Drivers are advised to check the road conditions before you head out for any weekend travel.

The forecast is good news for ski resorts, Ski Bluewood says with the storm, the area already received two inches of snow.
