Early morning accident slows traffic on I-182

A crash between a semi and a passenger car slowed traffic on I-182 shortly after 6:00 AM Thursday.

According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Thorson, a semi was trying to change lanes near the 4th St. exit  at the bridge over the railroad tracks in Pasco when it hit a car heading in the same direction.

The sedan was totaled, but no one was hurt.

Traffic was slowed in the eastbound lanes of the Interstate for more than an hour while troopers investigated the crash and worked to clear the scene.
