The Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife has announced the final four members of the Old Profanity Territory wolf-pack in Ferry County have been killed.

That pack were responsible for 29 cattle depredations since last year. However, environmental groups opposed the killings, which they contend benefit only one ranch operation in the Kettle River range.

According to the WDFW, there were 27 wolf packs in Washington by April.
