Fire closes Highway 730 in Umatilla County

Highway 730 between Hermiston and the Washington border is closed Monday morning because of a wildfire in Juniper Canyon.

The fire started Sunday afternoon just off the roadway, and quickly spread through the brush in an unincorporated area. No homes are threatened, and no injuries have been reported.
