Happy National Pi Day! It is the day on which you can celebrate the love of math and dessert. Pi of course, is the mathematical constant: 3.141592653. Pi is used to calculate the area of a circle, as in pi times the radius squared.

To celebrate the day many people eat pies. Many companies are offering deals today in honor of the holiday.

The Village Bistro in Kennewick is celebrating by offering a free slice of pie with any breakfast or lunch purchase. They are open from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Domino’s is launching a 50% off online pizza deal on Pi day. All regular menu-priced pizza orders placed online for the entire week will be discounted to half price, but you can only get this deal with online orders.

Pizza Hut is offering the chance to win free pizzas for 3.14 years. The catch is you must be the first person to figure out one of three math problems posted on the company’s website, and then you’ll be entered to win.

Microsoft is adding a 31.4% discount to certain Dell laptops, including the XPS 13 9350 Signature Edition laptop.
