Kennewick City Council approves new member

After a marathon special session on Saturday, the Kennewick City Council selected Chuck Torreli to serve the remainder of former Councilman Matt Boehnke's seat.

Boehnke was elected to the State House of Representatives in the November elections, and opted to vacate his seat on the council.

Torelli has been serving on the Kennewick Planning Commission since April 2017.

He'll be sworn into office at the next City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 6:30pm.
