Kennewick Police Chief Named To DARE Board

Students in  the Tri-Cities  face the pressures and dangers  of alcohol, drugs and violence on a daily basis.

But Kennewick Police Chief Ken Hohenberg says the DARE program has done a lot to given students a connection to law enforcement.

He says one such success story is Beca Jones, who as a student was apart of the program. She is now a Kennewick police officer.

Chief Hohenberg was just named to the DARE executive advisory board.
