Kennewick woman could face vehicular homicide charges

Kennewick Police are investigating an accident for possible vehicular homicide charges.

The head-on crash happened April 3rd, 2019 on Columbia Drive near Hubby's Pizza.

Sergeant Aaron Clem says Stanley Moreman, 71, was in the left turn lane when his car was hit head-on.

Moreman and the 45-year old Kennewick woman driving the other vehicle were both injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

On Sunday, April 14th, Moreman died from his injuries.

Immediately following the accident, investigators had secured a warrant to collect blood samples from the woman as part of their investigation into possible vehicular assault.

Results from those tests are still pending.

So far, no charges have been filed, but the Benton County Prosecutor's office is reviewing the case.
