(Pasco, WA) -- Both the Tri-Cities (PSC) and Sea-Tac (SEA) Airports are dropping their mask mandates in response to a federal ruling declaring the CDC's mask rules unconstitutional. The Transport Security Administration released a statement shortly after:

“Due to (today’s) court ruling, effective immediately, TSA will no longer enforce its Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs. TSA will also rescind the new Security Directives that were scheduled to take effect. CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time.”

Several airlines have also lifted their mask mandates following Monday's ruling--including Alaska, United, American, Southwest and Delta. The Biden Administration has not yet appealed the ruling.
