Local irrigation access closing down

KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Local irrigation districts are nearing the end of their seasonal delivery of irrigation water.

Here is a list of the local agencies and their scheduled delivery end dates:

• Monday, October 12, 2020 Kennewick Irrigation District
• Thursday, October 15, 2020 Columbia Irrigation District
• Friday, October 16, 2020 Badger Mountain Irrigation District
• Monday, October 19, 2020 South Columbia Irrigation District
• Wednesday, October 21, 2020 Quincy-Columbia Basin Irrigation District

You're encouraged to wait at least a week after your district shuts off supplies before having sprinklers lines cleared out to prevent pipes from freezing and cracking over the winter.
