(Tri-Cities, WA) -- It was a bizarre scene on Eastbound I-182 near the Columbia River Bridge Thursday, as over a dozen vehicles were sidelined by debris in the roadway. The Washington State Patrol started taking calls around 7:15pm from motorists on the bridge between Pasco and Richland. Troopers documented 13 cars that had flat tires as a result of a metal ramp that was dropped onto the highway--presumably after falling off or a truck or trailer.

Authorities do not yet know who lost the ramp and caused the incidents, but they would like to remind motorists to make sure their loads are secure before they hit the road.
