(Pasco, WA) -- Pasco High School the scene of a massive walkout Wednesday, involving more than 100 students. The students were trying to raise awareness for sexual assault. The students marched around school grounds and down Court Street. They then returned to class. Pasco School District released a statement on the walkout and the reasons for it that read in part "Pasco School District (PSD) wants students to know their concerns regarding sexual assault, harassment, and violence are being taken seriously, and we support students taking peaceful action to address issues that concern them."
