New Year’s morning fire destroys house in Prosser

Fire destroyed a home that was under construction in Prosser early Tuesday morning.

West Benton Fire and Rescue was called out to the home at Emick Lane and Nunn Road where crews found a home fully engulfed in flames.

Benton County Fire Protection District #2 and Yakima County Fire District #5 also responded to the scene to help with the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
