The city of Pasco is still working to clear snow from streets and sidewalks, but it's no easy task.

"We have the responsibility of clearing off the sidewalks," said Dan Dotta, facilities manager for the city of Pasco. "So, we take care of the buildings first, and then we go out and try to get to the boulevards and that. But, we have 25 miles of boulevard sidewalks that we maintain."

Dotta says they're dumping snow in city parks and unused parking lots just to get it out of the way of drivers and pedestrians.

"What we've now up on our sidewalks is that we may have some drifts some some plows. So, we realize the public works when they're going through clearing the roads, they're pushing snow up against that handicap ramp. What we're doing is we're going back out and we're clearing that."

Dotta says with freezing rain and melted snow re-freezing, a lot of the piles they're removing are actually ice, and it takes a bit longer to removed them.
