Pasco Police are investigating after a reported threat was made against Chiawana High School.

According to a statement from the Pasco School District, administrators learned that a student was involved in an argument with another person on social media Thursday night, and at some point a threat was made.

District officials say they contacted police as soon as they learned of the threat.

The Pasco Police Department has determined that students and staff at the school are not in any danger, and classes at all school in the district are operating under normal conditions.
