The Oregon Liquor Control Commissions wants companies producing vaping products that contain marijuana to take stock of what they're putting in vaping cartridges.

The CDC is monitoring a national outbreak of lung disease linked to vaping, and in many cases THC products seem to be the culprit.

The OLCC sent a letter to licensed processors in the state Thursday... asking them to report any previously undisclosed additives in the marijuana products, including Vitamin E oils, “tocopheryl acetate” or “alpha-tocopherol," which health officials believe may be linked to the respiratory illness.

Retailers are also being asked to review their vaping products, and report any product labels that lack clarity.
