Second Catholic clergy-member is COVID-positive in Mattawa

MATTAWA, Wash.- A second Coronavirus case has been confirmed involving a Catholic clergy-member in Mattawa.

The Yakima Diocese announced that a senior priest at Our Lady of the Desert Parish tested positive for the COVID-19 Virus one week after a pastor also tested positive. The two share a residence.

The pastor was released was released last Wednesday after spending 11 days in intensive care at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richand. The priest only has mild symptoms and is self-isolating at home.
