Kennewick Police have arrested a second teen in connection with an armed robbery.

According to a press release, the robbery happened at about 12:45 a.m. on December 22, 2018, when a teenaged boy was walking in the area of 24th and Tacoma Street.

A dark-colored passenger car pulled up next to the youth, and a male passenger got out and robbed the victim at gunpoint.

Police arrested a 15-year old Kennewick boy in connection with the robbery, and recovered some of the stolen items

On Thursday, detectives with Kennewick Police arrested a 16-year old Kennewick boy, also in connection with the robbery. The teen faces charges for first-degree robbery. Both suspects were booked into the Benton-Franklin County Juvenile Justice Center.
