(Seattle, WA) -- Seattle companies Starbucks and Amazon are teaming up to launch their first grab-and-go stores over on the east coast in New York City. The companies will open one Big Apple store Friday, and two others next year. The stores--known as Starbucks Pickup with Amazon Go--will offer a Starbucks menu, plus salads, sandwiches and snacks from Amazon Go.

Consumers can skip the line if they use the company apps to order. If they do want to hang out on-site, though, the locations will also offer a lounge area with tables and workspaces.
