KENNEWICK, Wash. - A vehicle was seen speeding by Washington State Patrol on I-182 near the Rd. 100 exit. It registered on the radar at 116 mph. Washington State Trooper Chris Thorson tells KONA "The trooper attempted to stop the car for speeding or wreckless driving. They didn't stop so a pursuit ensued."

The driver led officers through the Tri-Cities and the chase included speeds of up to 129 mph. Thorson said, "We know that the registered owner of this vehicle is Mr. Eduardo Felix who has a felony warrant for his arrest." Eduardo Felix, 34, Kennewick, was the alleged driver.

Spike strips were deployed 3 times on I-82 as the alleged felon headed eastbound toward the Oregon border.

The suspect took exit 114 and went into Kennewick. That's where troopers called off the chase. A witness called to report a suspicious man running through an alley and police went to the scene. They found the vehicle parked at City Market on the corner of 4th and S. Rainier St. Washington State Patrol and Kennewick Police set up a perimeter and deployed the K-9 team to track the suspect down.
