Tri-City Americans player out with fractured wrist

The Tri-City Americans announced Thursday that center, Michael Rasmussen, fractured his wrist and will be out of the lineup for approximately three months.

Tri-City Americans Governor Bob Tory says the player will be re-examined by a hand and wrist specialist, Dr. Rodney French, of Vancouver, BC in 6 weeks. Tory hopes they will have a better understanding of his return date at that time.

Rasmussen does not require surgery as the fracture is healing on its own.
