Thieves get away with cash in Walla Walla burglary

Employees at the Shari's in Walla Walla arrived at the restaurant Tuesday morning to find a window shattered.

Officers arrived at the location at about 5:30 AM and checked the building, but found no one was inside.

Sgt. Eric Knudson says someone broke a window to get into the building, and then busted through an office door.

The suspect managed to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators are looking for surveillance video from other businesses in the area to get vehicle and other information about whoever might be responsible for theft.
