Tri-Cities cancer patients have access to free eBooks thanks to new device
Cancer patients and their family will have access to eBooks thanks to a partnership with the library.
Mid-Columbia Libraries is unveiling the power tower Wednesday at the Tri-Cities Cancer Center. The device which looks similar to a Redbox allows visitors to check out eBooks or audiobooks from the library by hooking up their iPads, Kindles and similar eReaders.
The library says you don’t have to be a cardholder to use the machine. It also will serve as a charging station for digital devices.
