(Pasco, WA) -- The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle was clocked at 130mph last night around 10:30. It happened off Glade Road, when authorities first observed the vehicle going about 100mph on the Northbound side. One responding deputy says they attempted to conduct a traffic stop but could not close the distance to make the stop. A second deputy, using radar, clocked the vehicle at 130 mph. The deputy broke off the pursuit and the attempted traffic stop was terminated. A few minutes later, a third deputy located the vehicle abandoned in the roadway on Hollingsworth. Inside, officers found a loaded handgun, and two Moses Lake residents were soon taken into custody after a brief search. A 21 year old female was booked on felony eluding, suspended 3rd and obstruction. A 24 year old male was booked on the firearm violation as well as obstruction.
