(Tri-Cities, WA) -- One person was injured from an apparent drive-by shooting in broad daylight over the weekend. Pasco police were called to the area of Ruth Drive and Wrigley just before 2pm Sunday. Officers located shell casings in the area of the shooting. They also received a report of a someone shot at a nearby convenience store. That individual was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries, though any possible gunmen still remain on the loose. Officials do not have any description of the suspect vehicle at this time.


Meanwhile, Kennewick police dealt with a drive-by within their own city limits. It happened on S. Edison Street between 4th and 5th avenue. A woman called police at around 7:30pm to report that she had been shot at. She was not hurt, but there was damage to her vehicle. The suspect(s) reportedly left the area in a vehicle. They have not yet been located. Officers do not believe it was a random act, but they have not connected it to any other recent incidents in the area.
