Two more Hanford workers received precautionary medical evaluations Wednesday after having chemical odor-related symptoms.

The workers were outside the C Farms Tuesday and are believed to have been possibly exposed to the vapors then, but didn't report it until Wednesday. Both were released to return to work.

The last incident where a worker was checked after having chemical odor-related symptoms was in May. The number of workers possibly exposed to chemical vapors totals to at least 50 over the past few months, at several of the Hanford tank farms.

Exposures have caused outrage among lawmakers including Washington's Attorney General and Oregon Senator Ron Wyden, who visited Hanford in May to talk with workers and Hanford leadership.
