WA courts suspended for five weeks over COVID-19 concerns

(Olympia, Wash) In a rare move, the Washington State Supreme Court issued an emergency order Wednesday night, suspending all court proceedings in the state because of the COVID-19 situation.

All cases will be continued until April 24th, while cases currently underway must Institute social distancing protocols.

Any emergency court proceedings must be done over the phone or video link, unless impossible.
